The Alexandria Performing Arts Association (APAA) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) organization, founded in 1968 by Clova B. Demaine.
Our mission:
- Offer high-quality, affordable performance events in Alexandria
- Create performance opportunities for aspiring artists and arts organizations
- Encourage culturally diverse programs for underserved audiences
- Provide organizational/fiscal support to start-up arts groups
