About APAA
Mission

The Alexandria Performing Arts Association (APAA) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) organization, founded in 1968 by Clova B. Demaine.

Our mission:

  • Offer high-quality, affordable performance events in Alexandria
  • Create performance opportunities for aspiring artists and arts organizations
  • Encourage culturally diverse programs for underserved audiences
  • Provide organizational/fiscal support to start-up arts groups
